Plot holes
Some parents' stories don't have plot holes. Some ungrateful kids have attention span holes.

So, a few things...
-The "x character is sooooooooooo stupid" is kinda played out beyond belief. Really. It's boring to read. As a result, I'm more of a fan of the non-Sonic strips you've been doing simply because unbelievably stupid just isn't funny.
-The backgrounds you're using for the comics recently really clash with the sprites. Like, it just doesn't look very good. It kinda looks like the SMW sprites are now M&L in this recent comic though, so I guess it's better now?
-Lazy writing. That's the best way to describe #16. Because that's essentially what author characters can do. If you must have an author character, at least don't make him this giant, "Oh, I'll just do this and fix everything!" device. (otherwise known as deus ex machina)
-The spelling and grammar? Good. The dialogue? Great. You're doing good in that area, so keep it up.
... So... yeah...

No, it's called lazy writing. Author characters are the very definition of that. That's why people don't like them. That, and the whole "Mary Sue" thing.
